Winter approaches
The air is so cold

The wind blows hard
The trees tend to fold

Leaves fall on the ground
Leaving limbs bare

My arms clutch my body
As I repeat this prayer

Please send me someone
To be by my side

Some one to love me
And to wipe away tears cried

I miss arms to hold me
I feel lost and alone

The air is so cold
And I'm chilled to the bone

I'll give him my love
Make him happy too

There is nothing
For him I wouldn't do

My heart has been broken
But love will repair

What good is love
If you do not share

Winter approaches
Let's light a fire

Perhaps I can be
Your hearts desire

Love begins with Love
I'll give it to you

All I ask in return
Is that you love me too
