Two Faces

Two faces have I
Do you know me

Am I the She
You want me to be

I am a Thespian
A mask I wear

You never see it
Though always it's there

Playing a role
That's only a part

Of all the emotions
I hide in my heart

Sadness and tears
I keep out of sight

They only are present
When I'm alone at night

Faces ..
Does anyone see

The Me that I am
And always will be

Do you know me
Do you remember

A time long ago
I call November

Someday I want to
Remove the mask

And wear a smile
Is that to much to ask

Two faces have I
Do you know me

Am I the She
You want me to be

Perhaps one day
I'll open my eyes

Happy tears will flow
No more a disguise
