wounds
when past loves leave their mark,
I’ve been
waiting forever and there’s
still pain in
my heart.
They say that
it gets easier,
soon the tears
will subside
But I’ve been
crying forever,
I’m still
waiting for my time.
With each day
that arises you
are my first
thought that appears,
As I sleep of a
night I’m
comforted by my
tears.
I hope that
they are right in
all they say to
me,
One day this
pain will go
and set my heart free.
And even though we made
the right
decision for us,
