I am me .. you are you
I listen, I hear, I see

Speak softly your words
For they are wisdom to me

Music is all around
Each a different tune

I shall grow and learn
Perhaps too much too soon

Life is a lesson
We must traverse through

I learn all things from you

Wisdom comes from life
The old and young at heart

Each a valued lesson
All a vital part

Beat the drum slowly
Time goes so fast

Dream catchers foretell
The future from the past
