Shadow Victims

You pulled the trigger an ended a life
A child, friend husband or wife

Your crime did not only effect one
More lives from this tragedy did come undone

Guns don't kill people ... people do
Why did you do it .. was it fun for you

Why did you commit this unholy deed
Did it fulfill some satanic need

A heavy heart, sadness and fear
From my eyes flows many tears

Why?... Could someone tell me
Shadow Victims are we meant to be

Our loved ones have passed, but not in our heart
There they will stay a necessary part

I give to you love and serendipity
May the world be at peace .. as it should be
