A long time ago
I heard stories of how love should be

The man would be the knight
And he would rescue me

We'd ride off on a white stallion
And I would hold on tight

Knowing that my rescuer
Would make all wrong things right

But ours in not a fairy tale
I'm not the damsel in distress

But love for you I feel so true
That I must confess

When you are near I am so happy
Surely you must know

You are the one responsible
For how my face does glow

My heart beats so rapidly
When you are by my side

There is a feeling I can't explain
In you I have such pride

Love isn't love until you give it away
And I give my love to you

Perhaps this is a fairy tale
One that will come true

I believe in love that lasts
Forever and I pray

That you will be Knight
For you always make my Day
