I Caught A Falling Star

 

I dreamed I caught a falling star
And I held it in my hand

I made a wish upon it
As only Dreamers understand

I wished to find someone to love me
And I would love him true

I had a vision of this man
He is so very much like you

I looked so many times
To find a falling star

Wishing it would take me
Right to where you are

Your arms would be wide open
Welcoming me to be a part

Of the hopes and dreams you keep
Deep down within your heart

We would start and end each day
With a tender loving kiss

Knowing that the two of us
Had found a profound bliss

Knowing in our hearts
No others could love as we

A love like our would surely
Go down in history

I dreamed I caught a falling star
