When I was young and hurt my knee
You were there to comfort me

When I had doubts that filled my head
You gave me confidence instead

When my heart broke in two
You said the same thing happened to you

You assured me life was good
That some things aren't understood

 I am now adult and grown
I have children of my own

I love you Mother and want to say
I'm glad there is this special day

To pay tribute with love and say
