Black Heart and Gold Words
He writes of the dark.
She writes on the wind.
Black is his mark,
Hers but to mend.

Oceans apart they are
Yet love do they feel,
Wish upon different star,
But distance is real.

So here is to them
And long distant love.
Let the love never dim,
Carried on winds above.

Cross the oceans deep,
Past valley and mountain
Their love to always keep
From love’s distant fountain.

He of black heart,
She of gold words.
