This precious friend of mine!
He's the rarest gift
You will ever find!

He came to me after searching
For a very long time.
And when I found him
I knew I'd make him mine!

He was abused before I found him
And was afraid to trust,
But I broke through with patience
And he learned that love is a must!

He'll forever be my sweetheart,
I love him more each day.
And yet I know that someday soon
He too will pass away.

Oh, how I'll miss my Buddy
This precious gift from above!
But at least I know I've given him
