I slid across the rainbow

Right to the other side,

And there you were standing

My pot of gold for life.

I sped upon a shooting star

Across the night time sky,

To find you waiting for me

With a twinkle in your eye.

I jumped upon a moonbeam

Not sure where it would lead,

Again, you were there

Waiting patiently for me

I lay upon a white cloud

To rest and think and while,

When I closed my eyes

You were there with a smile.

I danced upon the petals

Of the first springtime rose,

You were there for support

When the gusty winds did blow.

I realise now that you are there

Every step of my way,

Soon my darling I will be home

That is where I will stay.
