Angels
I wonder what the angels think of
rainbows reaching from sky to sea.
Could they be as beautiful to them
as they are to you and me?
I wonder if the angels smile
each time a new baby is born.
Do they celebrate with a hymn
while Gabriel blows his horn?
I know we have guardian angels
watching over our lives each day.
I sense the flutter of their wings
all around as I watch a child at play.
I think God sends his angels
to hover over His earth with love.
A special angel for each of us
guiding us to our home above.
